Tall Ships and Newport Mansions A Day trip to Newport Rhode Island with the Gibson Center.  We will ride the Gibson Bus to Portsmouth NH where we will board a Luxury Coach for Newport.  We will tour two of Newport's most famous mansions, the Breakers, and the Marble House.  Afterwards we will go for a 4 hour dinner cruise in Narraganset Bay.  15 - 20 Tall Ships will sail into the Bay that day.  What an unforgettable way to start the summer!  The cost of $180 covers the transportation, the entrance fees to the two mansions, the 4 hour dinner cruise, and trip insurance.  Your deposit of $100 will save your seat on the bus. Foxwoods & Mohegan Sun: Overnight bus trip.  Includes Round trip Luxury Motor Coach from Gibson Center, Over night at the Two Trees Inn, 1 breakfast, 1 dinner, Visit to Foxwoods Casino; Visit to Mohegan Sun Casino; $10 Keno Coupon; $5 Pull Tab; Trip Insurance.  For people who don't gamble, there is shopping, shows, spas, and a pool, as well as historic museums on site at each Casino.  According to their web site, BINGO is offered at Foxwoods every afternoon, so we should be there for a game.  September 5&6, Wednesday & Thursday.   Deposit of $55 due June 26th.  Balance of $133 due July 14.  call to reserve your seat 356-3231.  We need 30 people to go.

 

Pennsylvania Dutch: Join the Gibson Center as we travel to Pennsylvania at Harvest time. 2 meals a day, including one at the Glick’s Homestead, 3 nights lodging at the Eden Resort, In The Beginning at the Sight & Sound Theater, Dinner and "Cabaret" show at the Dutch Apple Theater, Good & Plenty, Landis Valley Museum, Roots Farmers Market, Sturgis Pretzel House, Wilber Chocolate Factory, & Shopping and music at Kitchen Kettle Village. October 22-25, 2007 $689 per person double occupancy.  Please sign up today so we can reserve our seats on this tour provided by GeoDon Tours.  A deposit of $100 will confirm your reservation.  While the first bus is filled we are taking names to see if a second bus could also go, so sign up on the waiting list!
