The Gibson Center joined a GeoDon Tour to Amish Country. We had a specatular ride down and back, enjoying the fall foliage. While there we toured the back roads and saw buggies, and farmers working their fields. We had dinner at an Amish Homestead, we shopped for quilts, and at a Farmers Market, we toured a pretzel factory and a chocolate company, we attended two theater productions, ... and we ate!

We had a Halloween Parade at the Congregate Meal Site. Several people dressed up in costumes and themed sweaters. Everyone had a good time. Chef Rick prepared a special meal for us, Baked Black Oak Ham with Rasin Sauce, Creole Cabbage Saute, Gratin Potatoes, French Bread, and Pumpkin Marscapone. The Kitchen Staff even decorated the serving area with some creepy crawlies.

A group of veteran's and family members of veteran's were invited to Wright's Museum for a Veteran's Day program. The guest speaker was Jeb Bradley. Veteran's were given free admission to the museum.
