Cathy, who works in the Gibson Center kitchen, created this beautiful house for the Inn to Inn Cookie Tour. Cathy's House will be on display at the Darby Field Inn. The Cookie Tour is December 8 & 9. The next Friday, the 14th, all of the Gingerbread Houses will be auctioned off, with the proceeds going to certain area nonprofits. Cathy has requested that the proceeds from her house be donated to the Gibson Center. Call 1-800-626-5855 for information about the Cookie Tour, and the Gingerbread House Auction.

Leave the driving to us. The Gibson bus picked people up at their homes, and transported them to the Mount Washington Valley Choral Society's Christmas Concert. After listening to the Old English music, a violin solo, and duet, and the Kennett High Chorus, the group headed to May Kelly's where everyone ate dinner. There was live music in the bar. Afterwards, on the ride home, the group passed some houses that were decorated for the season.

Alice Clapp hosted a Christmas Dance. She played several Christmas songs, as well as favorite dance tunes. It was a cold night, and the Hot Mulled Cider was a hit. Alice also taught a few steps, which was an added bonus. The dancers donated several meals worth of food to the Gibson Center Food Pantry.

Christmas Dinner at the Gibson Center lasts three days. There are so many people that want to eat the delicious food, and spend time with their friends, that the Gibson Center has people make reservations for one of the three days. This years melt in your mouth, Apple Cranberry Pork Roast was sponsored by White Mountain Oil and Propane.

We had a very festive day at the Gibson Center. Ann & Joy were joined by Gibson members and sang Christmas Carols. Then Santa arrived, and visited with everyone and passed out gifts. We had a wonderful meal, Black Oak Ham, Scotish Potato Casserole, Creole Cabbage, Garlic breadsticks, and Gingerbread with sauce. Of course there was a fire in the fireplace to counteract the whistleing wind out side.
